Propaganda TPNPB untuk meraih legitimasi dan simpati asing
TIRANITOTALITAS Jakarta- Organisasi Papua Merdeka yang berusaha melepaskan diri dari Negara Kesatuan Republik Indonesia, dalam memperjuangkan keinginannya, melakukan gerakan-gerakan berakibat pada jatuhnya korban jiwa. Pemerintah menanggapinya dengan melakukan inisiatif berupa otonomi khusus bagi Papua dengan anggaran besar yang sayangnya tidak sampai ke masyarakat luas. Hal tersebut memicu pemberontakan masif dari Kelompok Separatis Teroris Papua (KSTP), dimana salah satu aksinya menyandera Seorang Pilot susi Air Kapten Philips Mark Mehrtens berkewarganegaraan Selandia Baru sejak bulan Februari 2023 hingga saat ini belum dibebaskan.
Tujuan organisasi Papua Merdeka juga sama, yaitu hendak melepaskan Papua dari Negara Kesatuan Republik Indonesia. Kelompok Separatis Teroris Papua sulit diatasi, karena mereka menggunakan persenjataan yaang lengkap dan menggunakan warga sipil bahkan anak-anak sebagai tameng .Beberapa aksi kejahatan yang pernah dilakukan Kelompok Separatis Teroris Papua (KSTP), antara lain melakukan penyerangan terhadap pekerja, pembacokan, penembakan, serta pembakaran rumah dan sekolah di beberapa wilayah Papua.
Kebijakan pemerintah yang sudah berjalan sejak tahun lalu untuk meninggalkan pendekatan kekerasan, dan menempuh pendekatan lunak seharusnya diikuti oleh distribusi peran yang lebih relevan dari lembaga-lembaga pemerintah. Operasi humanis tidak tepat diterapkan terhadap Kelompok Separatis Teroris Papua (KSTP). Hal ini terbukti dengan adanya penyerangan terhadap TNI oleh KSTP beberapa waktu lalu.
“Perang” menyangkut status dan situasi Papua tidak hanya terjadi di pedalaman hutan Pegunungan di Tanah Papua. Perang wacana menyangkut status dan situasi Papua juga secara daring atau online di berbagai platform media sosial. Menariknya, kontra propaganda isu kemerdekaan West Papua itu menggunakan pola baru, termasuk dalam usaha mereka menyasar pengguna media sosial di dunia maya dengan melakukan pemutar balikkan fakta yang terjadi dimana pihak Kelompok Separatis Teroris Papua (KSTP) memainkan peran playing victim sehingga seolah-oleh Kelompok Separatis Teroris Papua (KSTP) menjadi korban dari kekerasan yang dilakukan oleh aparat.
